What is the BIZI app?

BIZI is a unique app that provides you with information on the number and genetic mix of visitors in any location in relation to points of interest contained on google maps. It is particularly useful for assessing places of interest and access to bars/restaurants/clubs and events.

How does BIZI work?

The more you share the BIZI app the more information can be made available to users. As a user of the BIZI app, you can choose to indicate your gender and/or your location which can then be viewed by any other BIZI app user.

Why are there different coloured dots?

In MAP mode you can see users of the BIZI app represented as different coloured dots.

The Green dot represents your device location. If you cannot see a Green dot, then you may have selected Ghost mode or the app is not finding your current location. If this error persists, please send an email to info@biziplaces.com for support.

Pink dots represent users who have selected the female gender in their BIZI app setting.

Blue dots represent users who have selected the male gender in their BIZI app setting.

Grey dots represent users who have not yet selected a gender in their BIZI app setting.

Why are there circles with numbers instead of coloured dots?

Where the BIZI app detects multiple users within the same location, it will show the collective number of users as a number within a coloured dot. To see individual dots zooming the map will assist. In very crowded locations the collective number may persist.

Do I have to share my location all the time?

BIZI includes a 'Ghost mode' setting that, when selected, hides your location on the BIZI app. Ghost mode is maintained until you manually deselect the mode.

What information do I have to provide?

To enable BIZI to work most effectively, you will have provided basic login information including your mobile phone number, name, email address, and gender. We also ask you to give permission to share your location and access to your contacts. The last three items are optional, however, for the benefit of all users we suggest this information is provided.

Which of my details can other users see?

Other users of the BIZI app who are not in your contact list can only see your location and selected gender. All this information can be hidden at any time by activating 'Ghost mode'

Which of my details can my Contacts see?

Other users of the BIZI app who are also in your contact list can only see your location and selected gender. All this information can be hidden in 'Ghost mode'. You can, however, also choose to allow your contacts to see your location including your initials if you wish them to be able to differentiate your location from other BIZI app users.

Sharing my location with my Contacts

In map mode select the 'Share Location’ icon (bottom left of screen) and then select which of your contacts you wish to share your location with. Once selected the Contact will see a dot on their BIZI app that includes your initials and selected gender. You can de-select the sharing of your location at any time.

Sharing the BIZI app with others

The BIZI app can be easily shared in two ways. Either select the QR icon (top right in screen header) in map mode or select 'Share App' from the menu icon. Scanning the QR code enables the other person to download either the Apple (ios) or android version of the BIZI app.

I cannot see a Contact who is sharing their location with me?

If you cannot see the dot (with initials) of a Contact where it says they are sharing their location with your, this could be due to them activating the Ghost mode or being logged out of their BIZI app.

Privacy & Security

Only your location and selected gender are shared on the app. For your Contacts who have the BIZI app you can also choose to share your location, selected gender and first/last name initials. You can select Ghost mode at any time to hide your location and details.

Biometrics

At present, BIZI does not require any biometrics to operate other than those required to operate the device you are using to access the application.

What fees are payable?

The BIZI app is free to download and use at present.

How does BIZI earn income?

At present, BIZI earns income from in-app advertising links and other endorsements.

Operation and Formatting

BIZI app is designed to operate on both Apple (ios) and android platforms. Should you experience any issues regarding the format of the application, please send an email to info@biziplaces.com for assistance. Format problems are generally by adjusting settings on your device (text size/text bold etc.)
